Planets

This video does a great job talking about the sun and the planets. It tells the students about the placement of the planets and what they are made up of and their key features. This video is up to date with science which is great. They did not include Pluto as a planet. I feel like with this video I can introduce space to the students and talk about Pluto and what makes it a planet a planet or not. There are endless projects that can be done when teaching about outer space. This was one of my favorite things to learn about in school. I would use this video to teach the planets to 2nd graders, but if I did want to do something more complex with Pluto, I would show it to the 3rd-6th graders and have a more complex lesson.
